I was born in Solo, December 25, 1987 from the father of Drs. Luke Suroso and Mrs. Sri Puji Lestari Hantokyudhaningsih. I grew up in a city full of culture that is the city of Solo. as the descendants of the solos even have blood from a stranger. I was born like a tiny man, weighing> 4 kg. the second child of three brothers that I tried to be a pioneer and a child who was always proud of my extended family. trained hard in terms of education and given the religious sciences until thick. I am standing upright in my life the 19th to voice the aspirations of the marginalized of LGBT in the city of Salatiga. as a new city that will be a starting point toward change and transformation that this country is a country truly democratic. soul, body and all of my life will always fight for rights of the marginalized is to get our citizen rights. Ladyboys no rights, no gay rights, no rights of lesbian, but there's only citizen rights regardless of sexual orientation and gender.

Ujian Terbuka di Program Pascasarjana Studi Pembangunan UKSW

Senin, 31 Agustus 2009 telah digelar ujian terbuka di Hall lantai 5 Gedung G universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW) Salatiga atas diri promovendus Samtono dengan disertasi berjudul "Pembelajaran Berbasis Kompetensi: Studi tentang Sikap Guru SMA di Kota Salatiga terhadap Pembelajaran Berbasis Kompetensi".

Bertindak sebagai Promotor Prof. Sutriyono, M.Sc., Ph.D ; Ko Promotor terdiri atas Prof. Christantius Dwiatmadja, M.E., Ph.D dan Dr. R. Soebagijo,M.A ; Penguji Prof. Dr. Ir. Kutut Suwondo, M.S. ; Prof. Dr. Gusti Astika, M.A. dan Prof. Dr. Slameto, M.Pd.

Selama 25 menit Drs. Samtono, M.Si mempresentasikan hasil penelitian yang subyeknya adalah 421 orang guru SMA dari 10 SMA Negeri dan Swasta di Kota Salatiga. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil bahwa lebih dari 50% guru, yaitu 55% bersikap positif terhadap pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi.

Dari penelitian ini nantinya diharapkan akan ada penelitian lanjutan mengenai proses maupun hasil pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi dalam rangka pelaksanaan pembangunan bidang pendidikan di Kota Salatiga. Dalam kesempatan ini, Rektor UKSW Prof. Dr. Kris Herawan Timotius menyampaikan bahwa dengan berhasilnya Samtono meraih gelar Doktor, diharapkan akan ada guru-guru lainnya yang melanjutkan pendidikannya di UKSW. Turut hadir dalam acara ini Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kota Salatiga dan Kepala Sekolah dari beberapa SMA, SMP dan SMK di Kota Salatiga (upk_bphl).
